The invention relates to a method for restoring a ventilation network affected by an explosion, on the basis of critical paths. According to the invention, the method is based on the establishment of critical paths based on emergency degrees at the level of a ventilation network after the occurrence of an explosion, which is achieved by solving first the ventilation network in normal working conditions, determining the functional parameters of the active fan, afterwards carrying out the risk analysis at the level of the entire ventilation network, to establish the areas at risk from the point of view of the occurrence of the explosion phenomenon, after which the analyzed area at risk as well as the explosion intensity are established, the explosion pressure is applied in relation to the intensity thereof on the branch which represents the explosion epicentrum, the operation is radially and successively repeated until the area of the affected ventilation network after the occurrence of an explosion is obtained, the post-event ventilation network is modelled by eliminating from the ventilation network solved in the stage before the explosion of the ventilation constructions comprised within the affected area and the functional parameters of the active fan are determined, then the emergency degrees are established depending on the structure of ventilation network and the critical paths are established in relation to the degrees of emergency, the ventilation network is modelled and solved after introducing into the network the ventilation constructions corresponding to an emergency of 1st degree and the functional parameters of the active fan are determined, the operations corresponding to the 2nd, 3rd and 4th emergency degrees are repeated in a similar manner, the application of said method resulting as a necessity for rendering the management of the ventilation network more efficient and also for increasing work safety and health in the underground exploitation of useful mineral substances.
