Method for glue applying, especially to a car glass uses the polygraph industry principle of flat tampon print. In the first phase the glue is applied to a matrix (3), subsequently a wiping slit (5) will run through the matrix (3) wiping the residual glue. In the following phase a tampon (6) will be moved to the matrix (3) and will take away the glue to its surface. The final phase is moving the tampon (6) to the glass (1) surface placed in a holder (2), where the glue of the tampon (6) is applied to the surface (11) of the glass (1). The device for glue applying especially to a car glass comprises of the holder (2), the matrix (3), a glue container (4), the wiping slit (5) and the tampon (6). Sliding place of the tampon (6) has three positions, high nonworking (H), middle (M) and low (L). The matrix (3) is movably placed in horizontal direction so that in one marginal position is above the glue container (4) and in the second marginal position is between the holder (2) a the tampon (6). The wiping slit (5) is placed above the matrix (3) between its marginal position.
