METHOD FOR RESECTING SIGMOID COLON IN ACUTELY BLEEDING CANCER

The method for resecting the sigmoid colon in acutely bleeding cancer comprises the mobilization of the sigmoid colon and lymphodissection. The mobilization of the sigmoid colon is performed with high-frequency welding electric coagulator ЕКВЗ-300 Patonmed using the specialized bipolar electrosurgical instruments. The tissue is compressed with the electrodes of the welding instrument and the power source of the high-frequency welding current is switched on. Following the complete cycle of the welding process, the power supply is switched off, the tissue is released from the clamp and the tissues are dissected in bloodless mode.
