The method for producing triple potassium-cobalt(II)-stannum(IV) triorthophosphate of the general formula K3NiSn(PO4)3 in the solid polycrystalline state relates to the coordination salts according the phosphate anion structure. The method comprises the use of the melted mixture of the polycrystalline substances K2CO3, CoO, SnO2 and (NH4)2HPO4. The mixture is triturated in the agate mortar; the powder is placed to 100-mL platinum (porcelain) crucible and calcinated for 20 hours at the temperature of 950 °C. The polycrystalline powder obtained is washed with water and dried at the room temperature.
