METHOD FOR PREDICTION OF VALVULAR ATRIAL FIBRILLATION RECCURENCE

A method for prediction of valvular atrial fibrillation (AF) reccurence involves measurement of aldosterone level in blood serum. Measurement is performed two times: first during AF paroxysm and in 24 hours after medicamental recovery of sinus rhythm. Aldosterone level is calculated in percentage of initial level, and the conclusion is made on probability of AF reccurence.
