A transverse-momentum flowmeter comprises a body, first and second impellers connected to each other by spring. Second impeller is displaceable along the body axis, and ring-type permanent magnet is attached to it. A flux-gate meter is used, this is arranged outside the body opposite to magnetic neutral plane of ring-type permanent magnet.
