The present invention relates to a method for high mini-open amputation of the lower leg in case of ischemic gangrene in children, wherein, in order to preserve the knee joint in the presence of atypical conditions for high amputation of the lower leg over the ischemic gangrene in children, bonesaw-line on the tibia posterolateral surface is covered with fasciocutaneous flap, and the wound on the front surface of the upper third of the leg and the knee joint is secondarily closed by a split skin auto-flap after necrotic tissue skeletization and prior to pinpoint bleeding and filling thereof with granulation tissue, i.e. the lower leg stump is formed in two stages.
