UNIT FOR THE EXTRACTION OF METHANE FROM THE GAS HYDRATE ACCUMULATIONS OF THE BOTTOM LAYER OF THE OFFSHORES

The unit for the extraction of methane from the gas hydrate accumulations of the bottom layer of the offshores includes the bell-shaped housing with conical and cylindrical parts. Below, on the inner cylindrical part of the unit the kick plates are mounted for the destruction of the sludge. Inside the cylindrical part the water monitors are set in succession for the destruction of the gas hydrate accumulations, the perforated boards for the classification of the hydrates’ micro particles, the acoustic generators and the ring gas bubblers to extract the hydrates from the gas phase. Outside the housing of the unit the regulated micro motors with ailerons are installed to stabilize the unit in the space. The significant increase of the yield of the gaseous methane, the stabilization of the unit, the possibility of the unit’s maneuver in the space and switch of the unit to the continuous mode are achieved.
