The metal cap for preparing teeth for crowns is composed of metal-working and tail parts. Its hollow metal working part is inside and the front surface of the abrasive coating allows the initial preparation of a single tooth socket side, remote from the tail, to remove protruding parts of crown. Hollow metal working part is made in the form of a truncated cone, it allows using the inner side conical surface and internal, close to the tail, round truncated working surface to give the crown of the tooth a conical shape. Thus, this ensures preparation of entire surface of the tooth under the metal-ceramic crowns to a needed size, which saves time of a doctor.
