PREFERABLY, THE EXCHANGE TUNING LAYER IS GRANULAR AND REDUCES OR OPTIMIZES THE VERTICAL COUPLING BETWEEN THE HARD LAYER AND THE SOFT, SEMI-SOFT OR SEMI-HARD LAYER OF A MAGNETIC RECORDING OR STORING DEVICE.
