A METHOD OF VERIFICATION, ADMITTANCE, AND CARD ISSUANCE OF ARRIVING FOREIGN TRAVELLERS USING BIOMETRICS TECHNOLOGY FOR A MORE EFFICIENT BORDER CONTROL AND MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (BCMS)

The present utility model discloses a method of verification, admittance, and card issuance of arriving foreign travellers through local immigration in international airports and international seaports, the method comprising the steps of: scanning of passport and visa of said foreign traveller; verifying the identity of said foreign traveller by comparing the information from said passport and visa with available information from a database, wherein said database contain immigration bureau's watch list; obtaining biometrics of said foreign traveller such as scanning fingerprint, capturing facial photos, as well as scanning of signature; storing said biometrics and signature of said foreign traveller into said database; issuing a personalized electronic card to said foreign traveller, wherein said electronic card includes a microchip that contains the identity and biometrics of said foreign traveller; and admitting said foreign traveller through an automated gate of said local immigration using said electronic card, wherein said automated gate being equipped with a plurality of sensors capable of reading said electronic card.
