A compensator for high-velocity rifles comprising a substantially cylindrical structure for its body, having two large holes on the sides which direct high pressure gases to the left and right sides of the barrel, thereby adding stability of aim, while gas released from the four holes on top provides a counter-force against muzzle rise and hence controlling muzzle flips. Gas released from the top and side holes also serve as exhaust for the expansion chamber for reduced recoil during firing. The resulting counter-forces further stabilize the rifle barrel for faster shot-to-shot recovery.
