The invention relates to a device for self-powered ventilation and heat recovery in windows. The upper frame of the window (1) is widened and has at least one through a Fotovoltaikpaneel (2) covered opening (3). At least one blower, air is alternately fed into the chamber and then exhausted from the space. The mounted on the inside of the window part of the device consists of at least a blower, and a regenerative heat exchanger, and optionally at least one air filter or perfused deadening. The apparatus is thus able to reduce the energy demand and to ensure a ventilation without intrusion of noise.
