Methods for predicting the progression of a patient infected with HIV (HIV) subject disease. # The invention provides an in vitro method for predicting whether a patient infected with HIV (VHI) subject is lentoprogresor comprising (i) determining the genetic profile of at least one human gene variant associated with the development of HIV present in a gene in a sample from said subject and obtain the corresponding genetic profile, where such variants are HLA B * 27 , HLA B * 5701, HLA (rs9264942) and CCR5 {dl} 32, and (ii) determining the probability of lentoprogresión to the genetic profile of step (i) as a function of a disease-free time. Also it provides a method for selecting an infected VHI personalized therapy for a subject.
