Thromboelastographic method to determine deficit states of factor XIII by measuring, evaluating and comparing one or more of the TEG parameters reaction time (r), maximum amplitude (MA), time to reach maximum amplitude (TMA) and alpha angle in the presence and absence of factor XIII inhibitors.
