A method of cleaning a precision component comprising: cleaning a precision component placing accuracy in a cleaning tank (110) filled with a first solvent (112) to remove contaminants from precision component; clarify the component accurately in a rinse tank (124) filled with a second solvent (126) in which any remaining amount of the first solvent on the precision component is removed by the second solvent resulting so that a mixture is formed solvents; and separating the solvent mixture in a first solvent portion and a second portion of solvent in a recovery tank (136) by cooling the solvent mixture such that the first solvent portion resides above the second solvent portion, said first solvent portion and second portion of visually distinguishable to the naked eye solvent, and wherein the first portion of solvent may be removed from the recovery tank.
