A sediment trap river bottom for installation on riverbeds, the trap comprising - a pair of supports (2), - a metal body (4) with lugs to slide on the supports (2), - a container network (1) fixed to the metal body (4), wherein the trap further comprises - a stabilizing frame formed by a crosspiece (5) with a hole and a threaded rod (6), wherein in a state installed the crossbar (5) is fixed to the pair of supports (2), and the threaded rod (6) is fixed with its lower metal body end (4) and with its upper end is inserted into the hole in the crosspiece (5) and it is tightened with a nut threadably tightening, and - stakes (12) to anchor the river banks, - a stabilization system for ropes for stabilizing cuttings, - a rope (11), which in an installed state is stretched through the stakes, and - a first cord (8) fixed with one end to the container network (1), - second cords (9) fixed with one end to the structure stabilization (5), wherein the other ends of these first and second cord (8,9) there are hooks (10), preferably stainless steel hooks in an installed state are fastened to the rope (11).
