A template for relieving arthritis pain of at least one of the foot, knee and hip, comprising: a heel part, an arch part, and a forefoot part; the heel part comprising an inner heel part and a perimeter heel part; the arc part comprising an inner arc part and a perimeter arc part; characterized in that the template comprises an upper cushion layer (3), a lower cushion layer (5) and a rigid cover layer (4) between them, the rigid cover layer (4) comprising the heel region and the region of the arch, in which: the rigid cover layer (4) includes an upper surface of the rigid cover layer, a lower surface of the rigid cover layer and an opening of the cover (13), in which the opening of the cover (13) extends forward from the calcaneus to the metatarsals in a region of the medial arch (7) so that the cover layer (4) provides support along the perimeter heel region and the region of the perimeter arch, and the opening allows the cushioning of the inner heel region and the region of the inner arch; the upper cushion layer (3) is adhered in part to the upper surface of the rigid cover layer the lower cushion layer (5) is adhered in part to the lower surface of the rigid cover layer; the lower cushion layer (5) includes an arch support region, a heel support region, a support region of the front part of the foot and an opening of the lower layer (14) under the calcaneus of the foot; and a part of the upper damping layer (3) extends through a part of the opening of the cover (13) and extends through a part of the opening of the lower layer (14).
