Device (10) for controlled delivery of liquid medicaments to a patient, comprising: a housing (12) defining an axial cavity (18) having inner and outer ends (16, 14); a pump (20) mounted near an inner end (16) of the cavity (18) defining the pump (20) a tank (22) having a first wall (24) fixed in the cavity (18) and a second partition (26) displaceable flexibly at the same relative to the first wall (24), between positions of full and empty reservoir tank 10; an inlet conduit (32) having a first end connected to an inlet opening (28) of the pump (20) and a second end which can be connected to a source of liquid medication under pressure; an outlet conduit (34) having a first end connected to an outlet opening (30) of the pump (20) and a second opposite end which is connected subcutaneously to the patient; a compression type seal output (138) mounted in the cavity (18) to move between a closed position by compression compresses the outlet duct (34) and thus prevents the flow of fluid through the same, and a position opening without contacting the outlet duct (34) thus allowing fluid flow through the same, being forced closure compression output (138) towards its closed position by compression; a compression type seal inlet (200) mounted in the cavity (18) to move between a closed position by compression that compresses the inlet (32) and thus prevents fluid flow through the same, and a position opening without contacting the inlet duct (32) thus allowing fluid flow therethrough; a plunger (48) which can contact the second partition (26) of the reservoir (22) and arranged for axial movement within the cavity (18) between the first position in which the second partition (26) is in full tank position and a second position in which the second partition (26) is in the empty tank position; a button (50) activates the piston, extending from the outer end of the cavity (18) and is disposed in the cavity (18) for axial movement between extended positions and compression, having the button (50) one pawl (54) and a projection (56) which contact the compression seal and move to their open position when the button (50) is moved to its compression position; a spring (52) disposed under compression between the piston (48) and the button (50); a resilient latch (60) mounted in the cavity (18) which establishes resiliently contact the pawl (54) in the button (50) when said button (50) is moved to its compression position and holds the button (50) compression position against the force of the spring (52); and device release lock the plunger (48) does not contact the elastic latch (60) of the sear (54) in the button (50) when the plunger (48) moves to its second position.
