Sustainable container for consumer products

An article with a validity period of two years, recyclable and sustainable practically free of compounds derived from virgin petroleum, the article comprising: (a) a container comprising: (i) at least 10% by weight of high-density polyethylene ( HDPE) that has a content of biological origin of at least 95%; and, (ii) a polymer selected from the group consisting of post-consumer recycled polyethylene (PCR-PE), post-consumer recycled polyethylene (PIR-PE), regrind polyethylene, and a mixture thereof; (b) a cap comprising: (i) a polymer selected from the group consisting of polypropylene having a bio-based content of at least 90%, post-consumer recycled polypropylene (PCR-PP), post-consumer recycled polypropylene ( PIR-PP) and a mixture thereof; or, (ii) a polymer selected from the group consisting of linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) having a bio-based content of at least 90%, post-consumer recycled LLDPE, post-industrial recycled LLDPE, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) having a bio-based content of at least 95%, HDPE recycled after consumption, HDPE recycled after industrial use, Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) having a bio-based content of at least 90%, LDPE recycled after consumption, LDPE recycled after industrial use; and a mixture thereof; and, (c) a label comprising ink and a substrate comprising: (i) a polymer selected from the group consisting of polyethylene having a bio-based content of at least 90%, post-consumer recycled polyethylene (PCR-PE ), polyethylene recycled after industrial use (PIR-PE), paper and a mixture thereof; or, (ii) a polymer selected from the group consisting of polyethylene terephthalate having a bio-based content of at least 90%, post-consumer recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET), recycled PET after industrial use, regrind PET, a furan dicarboxylic acid polyester having a biobased content of at least 90%, a furan dicarboxylic acid polyester recycled after consumption, a furan dicarboxylic acid polyester recycled after industrial use, a regrind furan dicarboxylic acid polyester, paper and a mixture of them; or (iii) a polymer selected from the group consisting of polypropylene having a bio-based content of at least 90%, post-consumer recycled polypropylene (PCR-PP), post-industrial recycled polypropylene (PIR-PP), paper and a mixture of them; wherein the container, the cap, the PE label and the PP label each have a density of less than 1 g / ml and the label comprising PET, a furan dicarboxylic acid polyester or a mixture thereof has a density greater than 1 g / ml.
