Compositions and methods of directed administration of drugs in vitro and in vivo to mammalian cells through intact mini-cells of bacterial origin

A composition comprising (i) intact mini-cells of bacterial origin, which have intact cell walls, loaded with a therapeutically effective amount of an antineoplastic, (ii) a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier for them, and (iii) a bispecific ligand capable of binding to a surface component of said mini-cells and a surface component of a non-phagocytic mammalian cell.
