The present invention relates to a non-thermosensitive liquid medium for analyzing, purifying or separating species within a channel and comprising at least one polymer composed of several polymeric segments, characterized in that said polymer is of the irregular block-copolymer or random-comb polymer type and has on average at least three junction points established between polymer segments of different chemical or topological nature. It also relates to methods for the analysis, purification or separation of species using a non-thermosensitive separation medium.
