The object of the invention is an aircraft nacelle capable of optimizing the acoustic treatment, not to impair the aerodynamic performance and to limit the increase of the on-board weight. The nacelle comprises at least one flap (34) pivotally mounted about the pivot axes (42, 44) to occupy an active position in which it deflects at least a portion of the flow likely to participate in the thrust and another position called rest. In addition, the nacelle comprises at least one fixed part (28) and a movable part (30) capable of occupying a first position in which it is interposed between the flow to be deflected and the flap (34) and another position in which it releases the flap (34) so as to allow said flap to change position and move from the rest position to the active position. According to the invention, said pivot axes (42, 44) are substantially parallel to the vertical median axis (26) of the nacelle and supported by the fixed part (28).
