Disclosed is a method for improving the efficiency of the transformation in a plant compared to a conventional Agrobacterium-mediated method. As one of the characteristics, the method comprises a co-culture step for culturing a plant tissue inoculated with an Agrobacterium in a co-culture medium containing 3,6-dichloro-o-anisic acid.
