An interference wave suppressing apparatus includes adigital demultiplexing unit configured to demultiplex areception signal into demultiplexed signals havingpredetermined bandwidth, an interference-wave detectingunit configured to determine, for each of the demultiplexedsignals, based on a power value, whether an interferencewave is present, an interference-wave suppressing unitconfigured to change a signal value of the demultiplexedsignal, in which the interference-wave detecting unitdetermines that an interference wave is present, to a valueequal to or smaller than a predetermined value, output thedemultiplexed signal, and output the demultiplexed signal,in which the interference-wave detecting unit determinesthat an interference wave is absent, and a digitalmultiplexing unit configured to multiplex the signalsoutput from the interference-wave suppressing unit.
