A balanced high efficiency outdoor heater with increased heat radiation area,and improvedstability and thermal efficiency. An infrared burner (using sintered felt,facing the heatingsurface of the infrared burner upside down) is mounted at the front end of abeam set at theupper end of a standing column. A bottom base is at the lower end of thestanding column.The beam and the standing column are connected by pipe fittings. The rear endof the beamhas a base within which is an ignition control device, which is connected toan electrode rodand a thermocoupler under the burner. A reflector is mounted at the burner. Aninlet and anoutlet of the ignition control unit are connected to the burner by a gas pipeand a gas valve inthe beam and in the bottom base separately.
