In exemplary embodiments, methods and systems are disclosed for automatingcontrol of energy consuming devices. In an exemplary embodiment, a methodgenerally includes analyzing wireless signal patterns inside a structure todetectmotion, determining occupancy of the structure and occupant activity levelbasedon the detected motion, and controlling operation of an energy consumingdevicebased on the determined occupancy and occupant activity level.
