The present invention also relates to constructs and vectors including such nucleic acids, and related polypeptides. More particularly, the protein involved in flavonoid biosynthesis is selected from the group consisting of TRANSPARENT TESTA 2 (TT2) and functionally active 10 fragments and variants thereof.
