The present invention provides a color ring back tone processing method, device and system, said method comprising: after receiving a call signal from a calling terminal, obtaining calling terminal multimedia color ring back tone support capabilities and a called multimedia color ring back tone ID; in accordance with the support capabilities and the multimedia color ring back tone ID, obtaining a corresponding multimedia color ring back tone. The present invention solves the problem in the related art whereby a multimedia color ring back tone and calling terminal multimedia color ring back tone support capabilities do not match, and thus improves the user experience.
