[Problem] To provide a new strain which can be used effectively and safely as a biological pesticide and which exhibits sufficient control activity against a plurality of types of harmful insects as well as exhibiting plant growth regulatory effects, plant disease control effects, and the like, and a new microbial pesticide using said strain. [Solution] A pest control agent effective against a plurality of types of harmful insects, a plant growth regulator, a plant disease control agent, and the like can be provided by using the living cells of Beauveria bassiana strain 12B (NITE P-1574), a culture of the cells, a culture supernatant of the cells, or the like as the active component.
