A device icon arrangement unit (253), in accordance with operations performed by the user, arranges icons for the electric devices inside the respective rooms of the room arrangement that has been edited by the layout editing unit (252). A layout generation unit (254) generates layout information on the electric devices in the residence on the basis of the edited room arrangement and the arranged icons.
