Described herein are computer implemented frameworks, systems and methodologies for influencing commuter behaviour. In broad overview, an exemplary computer implemented method for influencing commuter behaviour includes the step of receiving input data from one or more monitoring devices configured to monitor a plurality of locations within a passenger conveyance, such as cameras positioned to monitor carriages of a train. The received input data is processed thereby to determine passenger management data. Based on the determined passenger management data, the method includes the further step of providing an output signal to control one or more passenger influencing devices at a destination of the passenger conveyance.
