The present invention relates to a system (1) for monitoring patients affected by syncope episodes comprising a first monitoring device (2) that can be associated with a patient to be monitored and is adapted to detect continuously at least a first parameter correlated to a symptom of syncope episodes, the first monitoring device (1) being adapted to activate, in case of detection of at least one syncope episode symptom, a second monitoring device (4) adapted to detect at least one second parameter that is functional for the diagnosis of syncope episodes; the system further comprises data transmission means (6) for transmitting data to a remote control center (8) and adapted to transfer data to a smartphone.
