THERMAL POWER GENERATION UNIT AND METHOD FOR INSPECTING THERMAL POWER GENERATION UNIT

The thermal power generation unit according to the present disclosure is provided with a plurality of thermal power generation tubes. Each of the thermal power generation tubes has a channel demarcated by the inner circumferential surface, the thermal power generation tubes being configured so that a temperature difference between the inner circumferential surface and the outer circumferential surface generates an electromotive force in the axial direction. The thermal power generation unit is provided with a container for housing the thermal power generation tubes within, and a plurality of electroconductive members for electrically connecting the thermal power generation tubes. The container is provided with a body part surrounding the thermal power generation tubes, and a pair of plates fixed to the body part, a plurality of openings being provided to the plates. Channels for housing the plurality of electroconductive members are formed on the plates so as to link at least two of the plurality of openings to each other, and an end section of each of the thermal power generation tubes is inserted into the opening of each of the plates. The channels have a mutual connection portion for linking the openings and an inspection hole portion extending to the outer edge of the plate. The thermal power generation tubes are serially electrically connected by the electroconductive member housed in the mutual connection portion.
