The present invention relates to the technical field of rail flash welding. Disclosed are a bead removing tool (18) and asymmetrical sectional grooved steel rail flash welder (10) using the same. The bead removing tool (18) comprises a first cutter body (181), a second cutter body (182), a third cutter body (183), a fourth cutter body (184), and a locking mechanism (185); the first cutter body (181) and the second cutter body (182) are hingedly connected via a first hinged shaft (X1); the second cutter body (182) and the third cutter body (183) are hingedly connected via a second hinged shaft (X2); and the third cutter body (183) and the fourth cutter body (184) are hingedly connected via a third hinged shaft (X3); and the second hinged shaft (X2) is disposed at a position where the third cutter body (183) is allowed to freely engage or disengage the narrow mouth (G2)of the steel rail (G) web relative to the rotation of the second cutter body (182) after the second cutter body (182) is fixed into the rail groove (G5) of the steel rail (G) for positioning. The bead removing tool (18) can remove beads from the asymmetrical sectional grooved steel rail (G).
