The device (A) has a dial-plate (3), and an indicator (5) arranged in a plane, which lies behind the dial-plate. The illuminant (10.1) is fixedly arranged for supplying light into the illuminant (11.1), and is provided with a fixedly positioned light-coupling surface (10.10). A recess is provided for rotatable mounting of a section comprising the light-coupling surface.
