An interlink cutter paper shredder provided with a cutting-type transverse paper shredding mechanism comprises a rack, and comprises a cutting-type transverse paper shredding mechanism, a longitudinal paper shredding mechanism and a driving mechanism all mounted on the rack. The cutting-type transverse paper shredding mechanism comprises a fixing rack, and comprises a static cutter plate and a movable cutter plate both mounted on the fixing rack. The first connection end and the second connection end move along a first track and a second track separately during paper shredding. The present invention has a simple structure and needs low cost. During paper shredding, the movable cutter plate moves up and down relative to the static cutter plate to cut apart paper, and moves left and right relative to the static cutter plate to split paper, and the paper shredding is labor-saving.
