The riding yard maintenance vehicle may have a fully assembled height of greater than about 34.5 inches. The multi-piece dash and hood assembly may include a split dash and a split hood that enable portions of the split dash and split hood to be removed to render a height of the riding yard maintenance vehicle less than about 34.5 inches.
