A multiphase power converter (11, 22, 24, 28) comprises a filter circuit (16, 16A, 16B, 23) and, in parallel between a common power source input terminal (12) and a common power source output terminal (13), two power conversion circuits (14 and 15, 14A and 15A, 14B and 15B) for changing the direct current power transmitted from input nodes (N1, N2) to an output node (N3) in accordance with the duty ratio of switching elements (Q1, Q2). Drive signals of different 180˚ phases are imparted to the switching element of each power conversion circuit. The filter circuit comprises first and second inductors (L1, L2) respectively connected between the power source input terminal and the input node of each power conversion circuit, and each coil of the first and second inductors is wound around the same core (19, 20) and connected in the reverse phase.
