Provided is an application data storage region generation method whereby access rights to an application data region can be easily or accurately set. The application data storage region generation method is implemented by a processor and comprises: a step for, in response to a request for use of an application, generating, in a user data storage region shared by a plurality of user accounts, an application data storage region having a data structure region for storing data for the application; a step for generating, in the user data storage region, role information including a plurality of roles having set therefor access control information to a data structure for the application; and a step for storing, in the user data storage region, information associating the plurality of user accounts with the plurality of roles included in the role information.
