The present invention relates to a method for nickel-based alloy manufacturing with post heat-treatment to increase the mean grain size D within the alloy of fine-grained structure comprising second-phase particles. An annealing step is comprised by the method for a defined period of time t_anneal at a temperature T in the range of more than 1000ºC. The present invention relates further to a component manufactured using the method, particularly a component within a turbine.
