The invention relates to a method for creating a laser weld joint between two components (10, 20), comprising the following steps: preparing a first component (10) which has a connecting surface (11) made of a first metal in the region of the joint to be produced, wherein at least the connecting surface (11) of the first component (10) is provided with a metal layer (14) made of a second metal; preparing a second component (20) having a body (21) made of a third metal, to which a welding aid (22) made of a fourth metal and having a connecting surface (23) is applied in the region of the joint to be produced; providing a corrosion-resistant solder layer (30) on the connecting surface of the first and/or second component (10, 20) which has a melting temperature lower than the temperature occurring in a welding zone of the components (10, 20) which are to be welded together; bringing the first and second components (10, 20) into planar contact with each other in the region of the connecting surfaces; implementing the laser weld joint by melting the solder of the solder layer (30) which fills gaps formed by the welding operation between the first and fourth metals and the welding zone (40).
