ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR ADJUSTING ENERGY DEMAND/SUPPLY FOR A PLURALITY OF TOWN BLOCKS, AND ENERGY MANAGEMENT METHOD

In order to batch manage the energy of a plurality of town blocks and optimize the energy demand/supply for the plurality of town blocks, this energy management system for managing the energy of a plurality of town blocks which contain a plurality of facilities is provided with a management calculating device that is connected to each of the town blocks in the plurality via a communication network. The management calculating device stores, for each of the town blocks in the plurality of town blocks: an actual value for the amount of system energy that is supplied from outside the plurality of town blocks to facilities within the town blocks; an actual value for the amount of output energy that is output by the facilities within the town blocks; and an actual value for the amount of consumption energy that is consumed by the facilities within the town blocks. The management calculating device calculates and outputs a predicted value for each of the town blocks in the plurality for a specific time band on the basis of the actual values.
