METHOD FOR PROCESSING COVER FILM FOR USE ON HARMONICA

A method for processing a cover film for use on a harmonica. The film consists of cyclohexanone, dioctyl phthalate, acetone, polyethylene and silicon dioxide. The raw materials above are simultaneously put in a container and mixed; after the raw materials are uniformly mixed, a white thin film having a thickness of 0.5 mm is laid flat on flat glass, and then, the mixed raw materials are poured onto the center of the thin film; the surface of the thin film is uniformly leveled by pulling the thin film; the air-dried thin film is placed in an oven of about 100 degrees centigrade for 5-15 minutes later and afterwards taken out of the oven and pressed in a proper way; a red thin film having a thickness of 0.5 mm is stamped to be equal in size to the leveled surface of the white thin film and then used to cover the processed white thin film; the two thin films are glued using an adhesive, leveled by pressure, placed properly, put in the oven and dried, taken out of the oven, and finally cut into a finished product in accordance with the size of sounding spring specifications. The product of the present invention effectively improves the airtightness of sound holes by covering the sound holes, avoids the phenomena of intrusion tones and air leakage while harmonica playing, positively changes the tone quality of the harmonica played, and satisfies the requirements of harmonica playing at deluxe places.
