HYBRID PREPREG FOR VEHICLE BUMPER AND VEHICLE BUMPER MANUFACTURED USING SAME

The present invention relates to a hybrid prepreg for a vehicle bumper and a vehicle bumper manufactured using the same. The hybrid prepreg for a vehicle bumper of the present invention comprises: (i) hybrid fabric, in which one between a warp thread and a weft thread is a continuous-phase aramid fiber and the other between the warp thread and the weft thread is a continuous-phase reinforced fiber selected from glass fiber and carbon fiber, wherein the warp thread and the weft thread are cross-weaved; and (ii) resin impregnated in the hybrid fabric. The vehicle bumper of the present invention includes the hybrid prepregs in which the inclination direction of the hybrid fabric is arranged to correspond to the lateral direction of the vehicle. The vehicle bumper manufactured using the hybrid prepreg, according to the present invention, has improved specific strength and impact resistance and, simultaneously, is lightweight. In addition, a prepreg stacking process is simplified when the vehicle bumper is formed.
