The utilization of dichlorido complexes of platinum in the oxidation state +II and their crystal-solvates having the structural formula (I), where at least one of the hydrogen atoms localized on the carbon atoms C3, C4 or C5 of the 7-azaindole skeleton is substituents by at least one atom from the group of: chlorine, bromine, or iodine, for the preparation of drugs for the treatment of ovarian carcinoma and/or prostate carcinoma and/or lung carcinoma and/or cervix carcinoma and/or malignant melanoma.
