Oil-free steam engine with a rotary and oscillating piston in a shape of rectangular plate or square plate or profiled plate attached on the shaft or in the engine shields. The piston rotates together with the shaft or with the shields and is separated from the cylinder surface by a labyrinth slit, such that it does not press on the cylinder surface. As there is no friction between the piston and the cylinder, no lubrication is necessary.
