A high-speed air-bearing electric spindle comprises a body (10), a stator (21), an upper air-bearing bearing (30), a lower air-bearing bearing (40), a shaft core (50) and a fixed shaft (70). The body, the upper air-bearing bearing and the lower air-bearing bearing are provided with intercommunicated air channels to form an air film suspending the shaft core. A cooling water channel (71) is provided in the fixed shaft. A cooling gap communicating with the cooling water channel is provided between the outer surface of the fixed shaft and the inner surface of the shaft core. The top part of the cooling gap is closed and the lower part is open.
