Disclosed are a system and method for removing high-concentration hydrogen sulfide using iron chelate. According to an aspect of the present invention, a system for removing high-concentration hydrogen sulfide using an aqueous iron chelate solution can be provided, the system comprising: a desulfurization reactor including a plurality of reaction pipes which are continuously connected above and below such that a flow path is formed from above to below and again from below to above, wherein a synthetic gas containing hydrogen sulfide moves along the flow path; and a jet nozzle for jetting an aqueous iron chelate solution to the plurality of reaction pipes, wherein in the desulfurization reactor, the aqueous iron chelate solution collects the hydrogen sulfide contained in the synthetic gas.
