A pharmaceutical or health care product composition comprising a preparation made from the following materials in parts by weight: Radix Angelicae Pubescentis 10-30 parts, Ramulus Cinnamomi 5-25 parts, Radix Paeoniae Alba 10-30 parts, Fructus Chaenomelis 10-30 parts and Radix Achyranthis Bidentatae 10-30 parts; a preparation method therefor and a use thereof. It has been proved that the combination of five raw materials has effect of synergistic interaction. The tests show that the pharmaceutical or the health care product composition is effective in treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis or gouty arthritis, and can significantly improve joint swelling, joint pain caused by sudden drop of temperature, joint stiff, joint deformity, joint sharp pains or labor pains, joint numbness, hyperosteogeny and other symptoms.
